1.To save your order to your hard disk or floppy disk
Using your right-most mouse button, click on your order. A dialog box will appear. Move your mouse over "Save Target As...". Using your left-most mouse button, click on "Save Target As..."

A new window will appear, asking you where you would like to save the file. We suggest a convenient location like a "My Documents" folder on your desktop or creating a folder named "DWC" on your C: drive.

The file will download and your order will now be on your hard drive (C: drive). You can specify another directory such as your floppy (A: drive) by choosing a different option in the "Save In" dropdown selection.

Most of these files will be in a Comma Separated Value format (.csv). On occasion, in order to speed your download, we compress certain files to make them smaller. These are called "zipped-executable" format. They have ".zip" or ".exe" as extensions. You must have WinZip installed on your computer to access these files. If you don't have this application, you can acquire it at www.winzip.com.

2. To open a .CSV file:
If the file comes in a .csv format, you can open it using Excel or Microsoft WordPad. Just open Excel, go to File, click on Open, and find the saved file.

3. To import a text file into Excel:
Open Microsoft Excel. At the top of this program, you will see File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Data, Window, and Help listed. Use the left mouse pointer to select Data (single click).

Choose Get External Data. Choose Import Text File.

A window will open, listing files in My Documents. If this is not the place where the text file is saved, browse through the list of directories until you locate it. Double click on the file.

This will open the Text Import Wizard. The first screen will say "The text import wizard has determined that your data is delimited." and so on. Click the Next button at the bottom of the window.

This will bring up step 2 of 3. In the Delimiters section of the window, you want to select the box next to Comma. Once you have done this, click the Next button.

At step 3 of 3, simply click the Finish button. On the next (and final) window, simply click OK.

Save the file, and the import is complete.

4. Instructions for extracting from an zipped executable file:
Once the file has been saved to your computer (.exe or .zip format), you need to decompress the file to be able to access the data. First, locate the file where you previously saved it (Windows Explorer/My Documents/ File Name), then double-click (left mouse button) on the file. This should open a dialog box called WinZip - Self-Extractor - File Name.

Click on the Browse button to choose where to save the extracted files. Navigate through the folders until you find where you wish to save the file(s). A suitable choice is often the My Documents folder or the Desktop.

Once you have chosen where to save the file(s), click on the OK button. This should return you to the original dialog box, with C:\ replaced by the path of the folder that you chose. Next, click on the Unzip button (located at top right). You should then receive a message indicating the number of files successfully unzipped. Close this dialog box, and your files should now be placed where you chose to save them. Now, you can access your data through either Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Wordpad.
